Community Content Guidelines

Effective July 21, 2026

Purpose: The Community Library helps participating departments share useful, non-sensitive fire-service training material. Every submission is reviewed before publication, but contributors remain responsible for what they submit.

1. Content that may be shared

2. Content that must not be shared

3. Submission and moderation

Before submitting, the contributor must review the complete item, agree to these guidelines, and confirm that the department is authorized to share it. A platform reviewer may approve, reject, or later retire an item. Approval means the item may be copied by participating departments; it is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of accuracy.

4. Reporting and removal

Eligible users can open a published item and choose Report Community Item. Reports enter the platform moderation queue. Reviewers may investigate, request clarification, retire content, preserve relevant audit information, or take action against repeated or serious misuse. Copies already imported by departments are independent records and may require separate department review.

5. Contributor responsibility

Contributors must verify training accuracy through qualified subject-matter review before operational use. Departments decide whether copied material is appropriate for their policies, equipment, staffing, laws, and local conditions.

6. Contact

Questions about these guidelines may be submitted through Report a Problem in the application or by email to rthomann@northchathamvfd.com.
