Routine To Response Terms of Use

Effective October 6, 2026

R2R supports department readiness, training, records, and read-only displays. Your organization remains responsible for its information, decisions, procedures, and authorized use.

1. Scope and operator

These terms describe use of the Routine To Response website, applications, hosted service, and R2R Displays for Roku (together, the service). Routine To Response (R2R) is operated by Ryan Thomann in North Carolina, United States. By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the service and contact support or your department administrator. A separately signed agreement with your organization controls where it conflicts with these terms.

2. Authorized access

Use department features only with your organization's permission and within the access granted to your account. You may act for an organization only if you have authority to do so. Administrators are responsible for account access, personnel permissions, and removing access that is no longer appropriate. Keep passwords, pairing codes, display credentials, and other security information private. Report suspected unauthorized access promptly.

3. Permitted use and restrictions

While access is authorized, you may use the service for its intended organizational purposes, subject to applicable agreements and law. The service and its software remain the property of their respective owners; these terms do not transfer ownership.

4. Organization content and records

You and your organization retain your rights in content you provide. You authorize R2R and its service providers to process that content as needed to operate, secure, support, and recover the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. This does not grant permission to sell your content or publish private department records.

Only enter or upload information you are authorized to provide. Verify accuracy, appropriate access, copyright permissions, and retention requirements. Do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information. Administrators should review important records and maintain required exports or backups. Community Library sharing is subject to the Community Content Guidelines and its separate submission review; ordinary use does not authorize public sharing.

5. Training and operational decisions

R2R does not independently certify a person's qualifications, award regulatory credentials, or approve equipment for service. Training content requires qualified review and must be evaluated against local procedures and applicable requirements. Recorded status and automated summaries reflect entered information and may be incomplete or outdated.

The service is not an emergency-dispatch service or a substitute for command authority, responder accountability procedures, direct communications, or required safety checks. Confirm time-sensitive information through your organization's established methods. Do not rely on an unattended display as the sole source of operational information.

6. R2R Displays for Roku

Installing the Roku app does not provide department access by itself. A department-authorized, one-time pairing code or link connects a TV to a read-only display. Authorized controllers can manage saved TVs subject to department permissions. Administrators may revoke a pairing; removing or resetting app data or changing the signing identity may require pairing again.

Place TVs where only the intended audience can see the displayed information. Review and approve any public-facing content before showing it. Network failures, app closure, TV sleep, or power loss can interrupt updates. A NOT LIVE indication means the last information may be stale; verify freshness before acting. Roku's platform terms and device settings apply separately.

7. Availability, updates, and third parties

Features depend on department permissions, enabled modules, compatible versions, connectivity, and supported devices. Pilot or preview features may change or be unavailable. We may update the service for maintenance, security, compatibility, or improvements and may interrupt access as reasonably necessary. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Weather, map, hosting, distribution, and other third-party services have their own terms and availability.

8. Fees and subscriptions

Any paid service, renewal, cancellation, or refund terms are stated in the applicable order or separate agreement. These terms do not create a new fee or automatically enroll you in a paid subscription. Installing R2R Displays does not replace an organization's required service arrangements.

9. Suspension and ending access

You may stop using the service at any time. Your organization may change or end your access. We may restrict access to address unauthorized use, security threats, legal requirements, or violations of these terms or an applicable agreement. Where practicable, we will explain the restriction and provide an opportunity to resolve it; urgent security or legal circumstances may require immediate action. Retention and deletion follow the Privacy Policy, applicable agreements, and legal requirements.

10. Disclaimers and applicable rights

Except for commitments in a separate agreement and rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, the service is provided as available without a guarantee that it will meet every operational need or that all content is accurate, complete, or current. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or protections that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

11. Changes and contact

We will post updated terms here with their effective date and provide additional notice where required by law or an applicable agreement. Changes apply prospectively and do not override a signed agreement or authorize new uses of personal information inconsistent with the Privacy Policy. Contact support@routine2response.com with questions about these terms or access issues.
